The Van Knauff Group was started out of a rapidly changing restaurant culture. We saw firsthand the need to keep up with the ever-changing desires of guests, and acted accordingly. We understand that guests’ expectations about a dining experience are ever-changing, so we focus on delighting our guests and inspiring our clients.


Our tagline, “The Group Focused on Guests” is derived from founder Katy’s 17 years working for a restaurant group that emphasized the following: With us, you are our guest not our customer. You will be treated the same in our home as you would in our restaurant. We seek to help our clients create a dining experience that is guest-centric. 


We are also driven by the mantra ‘Think Globally, Act Locally”, and we think our work reflects that drive. We are passionate about supporting our community, so that’s where we start with our clients. Our team’s unique combination of hands-on FOH and BOH work, brand management, and trending topics implementation allows our clients to set the bar for what great looks like.
